كان رحمي كوج رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة كوج القابضة التي أسسها والده وهبي كوج في أنقرة. وُلد ونشأ في أنقرة ودرس في إسطنبول والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. عاد إلى تركيا في عام 1964 وأصبح رئيس مجلس الإدارة وتقاعد في عام 2003. تولى ابنه مصطفى منصب والده حتى وفاته في عام 2016. ابنه الأصغر مسؤول عن الشركة العائلية ومثل أخيه، يواصل تقاليد العطاء التي ورثها عن جده ووالده.
