En kort promenad bort ligger Kryddbasaren (även kallad Egyptiska basaren). Här handlar lokalbefolkningen saffran, teblandningar, torkad frukt och exotiska sötsaker. Den är mindre och lättare att navigera än Stora basaren, men inte mindre charmig.
Lunch: En smak av Turkiet
Du har förtjänat en paus. Gå till en takrestaurang med utsikt över Bosporen – Seven Hills, Hamdi eller Tugra Restaurant på Ciragan Palace är bra val.
Prova en traditionell turkisk kebab, meze-tallrikar eller färsk fisk tillsammans med ett glas lokalt vin eller den anisdoftande spriten rakı. Glöm inte efterrätten – baklava och turkiskt te är ett måste.
Eftermiddag: Bosporen med båt

När din tid börjar ta slut, bege dig tillbaka till den europeiska sidan och fånga solnedgången vid Galatabron eller Galatatornet.
