4 Avustralyalı ile Türkiye'de Geçen Bir Haftanın Özeti
Morrisons ve Cummins'ten bir e-posta aldığımızda, bunun eğlenceli olacağını hepimiz biliyorduk. Türkiye'den ne bekledikleri konusunda o kadar netlerdi ki, bu bizim için en kolay rota planlaması oldu. Morrisons'ı Kapadokya'da ağırlayamadığımız için üzgünüz, ancak Cummins'leri bu şiirsel topraklarda ağırlamaktan memnun kaldık ve onları gelecekte Kapadokya'ya bir gezi için ikna ettik.
Morrisons ile İstanbul'da buluşmadan önce, Cummins'ler ile Kapadokya'da 3 gün geçirdik. Bölgenin mutlaka görülmesi gereken yerlerini keşfettiler ve eko-turizm de dahil olmak üzere alışılmışın dışındaki yolları deneyimlediler :) Erkan, onları amcasının küçük çiftliğine götürdü ve burada taze ve sulu yaz meyveleri toplama fırsatı buldular.
Morrissons gelmeden önce İstanbul'da yerel deneyimler devam etti. Onları Boğaziçi Üniversitesi'nde kız kardeşimin mezuniyet törenine götürdüm, burada yüzlerinde büyük gurur dolu gülümsemelerle ailelerle tanıştılar. Hepsi zamanın ne kadar hızlı geçtiğinden ve çocuklarının ne kadar çabuk büyüdüğünden bahsediyordu. Bay Cummins, öğrencilerle Fransızca pratiği yapma fırsatı buldu ve oğlunun mezuniyetinden daha iyi fotoğraflar çekti çünkü ilk kez dijital kamera kullanıyordu :) Şimdi Bay Cummins'in o fotoğrafları göndermesini bekliyorum çünkü ben kendi fotoğraflarımı evde unuttum.
Morrissons, kız kardeşimin mezuniyetinden sonra geldi. Otelde buluştuk ve İstanbul rotamızı tartıştık; her şey sorunsuz gitti, sadece LGBT Onur Günü'nde Taksim Meydanı'ndaki gösteri hariç. Şimdi Türkiye'de bir gösteriye tanıklık eden az sayıdaki turistten biri oldular. Hiçbir şey olmadı, sadece aracımıza kısa bir yol kullanarak ulaştık ve güvenli bir şekilde otelimize döndük, ancak LGBT Onur Yürüyüşü'nü kaçırdığımız için aynı zamanda üzgündük.
Gelibolu savaş alanları, Bergama, Efes ve Pamukkale - Hierapolis'i 3 günde kapsadık ama acele etmeden. Kiralık bir araba ve benim esnek bir şekilde rehberlik etmemle, bu kısa zaman diliminde mümkün olduğunca çok şey yapabildik. Akşamlarını serbest zamanlarında geçirdiler ve tabii ki Türk birasının güzel tadını çıkardılar. Pamukkale - Hierapolis antik kentinde bir gün geçirdikten sonra onları Kaş'a bıraktım ve bensiz daha da güzel vakit geçirdiler. Bunu, onları Kaş'taki otellerine bıraktığımda hemen Erkan'a anlattılar.
Kaş'ta günlük bir tekne turuna çıktılar ve ertesi gün Meis Adası'na feribotla gittiler. Onları önce Ölüdeniz'e (Dead Sea) götürmesi ve ardından Fethiye'deki otellerine bırakması için bir şoför gönderdik. Fethiye'de bir gece geçirdikten sonra, Yunanistan'ın karşı karşıya olduğu ekonomik sorunlar nedeniyle endişeli bir şekilde Rodos'a doğru Türkiye'den ayrıldılar, ancak Yunanistan'da da her şey sorunsuz gitti ve şimdi Fransa'daki yazlık evlerinde vakit geçiriyorlar. Onlarla tekrar buluşmayı ve gelecek yıl Morrissons'ı Kapadokya'da ağırlamayı dört gözle bekliyoruz.
