Anadolu Hisarı – Anadolu Kalesi
Anadoluhisarı, İstanbul'un Beykoz ilçesinde yer almaktadır. Türklerin Boğaziçi'nde 1394 yılında Sultan Yıldırım Bayezid tarafından inşa ettiği ilk yapıdır. Roma başkenti Konstantinopolis'in fetih planlarının bir parçası olarak, I. Bayezid, bugünkü modern şehir İstanbul'un Asya yakasına Anadolu Hisarı'nı inşa etmiştir. Cenevizliler ve Romalılar, Karadeniz kıyılarında ticaret kolonilerine sahipti ve Sultan, Konstantinopolis'in deniz yollarını engellemeyi planlıyordu. Ancak, İstanbul'u fethetme planları, 1396 yılında Bulgaristan'ın Niğbolu şehrinde Haçlılara karşı yapılan savaş nedeniyle askıya alındı. Bulgaristan'daki Haçlılara karşı zaferden sonra, I. Bayezid Konstantinopolis'i kuşattı ancak başarılı olamadı. Timur İmparatorluğu'nun ordularına karşı topraklarını savunmak zorunda kaldı. 1402 yılında Ankara Savaşı, Osmanlı'nın yenilgisiyle sonuçlandı ve bu durum devleti bir gerilemeye ve Osmanlı prensleri arasında bir iç savaşa sürükledi. Torunu II. Mehmet, İstanbul'un Avrupa yakasına Rumeli Hisarı'nı inşa ederken Anadoluhisarı'nı güçlendirdi. Boğaziçi Boğazı'nı kontrol altına almayı başardı ve 1453 yılında Konstantinopolis'i fethetti. Fatih Sultan Mehmet, bugün görülen 5 kuleden 2'sini ekledi ve hisarın duvarlarını güçlendirdi. Anadoluhisarı, uzun yıllar askeri bir karakol ve hapishane olarak kullanıldıktan sonra Türkler tarafından terk edildi.
Anadoluhisarı Nerededir?

Anadoluhisarı yaklaşık 7000 metrekarelik bir alanı kaplamaktadır. Boğaziçi Boğazı burada 650 metre genişliğindedir, bu da Anadoluhisarı ile Rumeli Hisarı arasındaki savunmayı kolaylaştırmaktadır. Anadoluhisarı, I. Bayezid tarafından 3 gözetleme kulesiyle inşa edilmiş, torunu II. Mehmet ise 2 kule daha eklemiştir. En yüksek kule 25 metreye ulaşır ve top platformlarına sahiptir. II. Mehmet tarafından kaleyi çevreleyen 2 metre kalınlığında duvarlar inşa edilmiştir. Hisarın restorasyonu 1991-1993 yılları arasında yapılmış olup, Anadolu Hisarı'nın gezginlere büyük açılışını sabırsızlıkla bekliyoruz.
