Nestled in the surreal landscape of Cappadocia, the Göreme Açık Hava Müzesi is more than just a historical site—it's a journey into the spiritual and artistic life of early Christian communities. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985, this open-air complex is a collection of rock-cut monasteries, chapels, and churches carved into soft volcanic rock, most of them adorned with astonishing frescoes dating from the 10th to the 12th century.
