Day 1 - .
Bodrum, the city that never sleeps, has become a meeting point for jet-setting holiday-makers, those interested in the rich history, and others who come for the crystal clear turquoise waters. One of The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and an Underwater archaeology museum is located in Bodrum, making it historically significant. Your tour will start from St Peter's Castle, once used by the Aegean Sea pirates, but now houses the Underwater Archaeology Museum. The oldest shipwreck of the world is on exhibition with some of its cargo, glassware, and amphoras used for trading olive oil in the Aegean Sea. Our next stop will be the Mausoleum of King Mausolos, a Persian satrap to Caria in the 3rd Century BC. It is one of The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, but unfortunately, it was destroyed by earthquakes, and the remaining were used in the reconstruction of the castle of Bodrum. The ancient theater will complement your day, thanks to Bodrum's panoramic views and the Aegean Sea. At the end of the tour, you will return to your Bodrum hotel.
