Day 1 - .

The Cappadocia region hosts many important sites from the Byzantine and Ottoman periods, often missed by tourists. We will be thrilled to take you to the off-the-beaten-path and show you churches and an underground city not visited by many tourists on this tour. Our tour will start with the St John Church in Gulsehir City, which hosts amazing art in frescoes from the late Byzantine era. We will then drive to Nevsehir, the home of Damat Ibrahim Pasha, who built a beautiful Kulliya to his motherland. The Kulliya is a big complex of a mosque, madrasa, soup house, library, Turkish bath, and a caravanserai. We will have lunch in Nevsehir city before driving to Tatlarin village to visit Cappadocia's least-visited underground city. Turkish coffee in the village of Tatlarin is recommended before getting back to your hotel.
