Day 1 - Arrival to Cappadocia
Meet your guide and driver at the airport. Half day orientation tour will be followed by a short drive to Cappadocia region. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Urgup town before we check in to your hotel in Mustafapasa town which is located at the touristic edge of Cappadocia region. Free afternoon and Overnight in Mustafapasa.
Day 2 - Mustafapasa to Urgup Town
After the breakfast at our hotel, we will walk through the village to Gomeda valley. A small cave complex will greet us before our entrance to Gomeda. 2 hour walk will take us to the end of the valley where we are able to see the best examples of the pigeon houses of Cappadocia. A light picnic lunch will be served before we continue to Pancarlik valley to visit a small and less visited monastic settlement. Poetic landscape of Cappadocia lies in front of us as we sip our teas overlooking the Erciyes Volcanic mountain of Cappadocia region. After a visit to Pancarlik Church and Monastic complex, we will walk to Urgup town for overnight.
Day 3 - Urgup to Ortahisar
After breakfast at our hotel, we will walk in Urgup town today to explore medieval-age looking like narrow streets of Urgup. From Seljuks to the Ottomans and Romans to Byzantiums, Urgup town is a reference to the whole civilizations once used to rule the area. Our lunch will be in a local restaurant today. Our journey will continue after lunch to Ortahisar town with beautiful views to the volcanic landscape of Cappadocia. Overnight in Ortahisar.
Day 4 - Circle Red Valley and Watch Whirling Dervishes
After breakfast, we will leave our hotel to explore the Meskendir and the Red Valleys of Cappadocia region. An hour walk will take us to Meskendir Valley where we are able to see small vineyards of Cappadocians still traditionally cultivated like the ancient ages. After a break in the valley, we will walk up through the narrow tunnels of the Meskendir valley up to the Red Valley for our lunch. After a visit to the Grape Church, we will walk to the Ortahisar town and watch a whirling dervishes show before we return to our hotel. Overnight in Ortahisar.
Day 5 - Ortahisar to Uchisar and Watch a Turkish Night Show
After breakfast, we will walk a scenic path to Ibrahimpasa village. Villagers will welcome us to show their hospitality and will be a nice experience to meet with the local farmers of Cappadocia. After a break in the village square, we will go to a small restaurant in the village for our lunch. Lunch will be followed by another walk through the ancient paths of Cappadocia to the edge of the Zemi valley which offers great views to us. We will touch the valley while walking to our hotel in Uchisar town. After refreshing up in our hotel, we will take a little walk through the Uchisar town for a cave venue to watch a Turkish Folk and Belly Dance Show. Overnight in Uchisar
Day 6 - Uchisar to Goreme and Turkish Bath Experience
Half day at leisure in Uchisar town today for a rest. Shopping opportunity for those who are interested in handcrafts such as pottery or carpets and rugs. Cappadocia region has many workshops which are visited by several tourists every year sustaining the local economy of Cappadocia directly and indirectly. Lunch will be served at the hotel after check out and we will walk to the Goreme Village through the Pigeon Valley. Our walk will finish in a Turkish bath to get away our 5 days of walking tiredness. Overnight in Goreme.
Day 7 - Departure
After check out from the hotel, you'll be transferred back to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination
