Our stay in Capadoccia was an exotic eye-opener.. Not only did we stay in a "cave" hotel beautifully decorated with Oriental rugs and all the necessary amenities, but the landscape we saw was breathtaking.in its scope and freshness. In fact, our guide showed us several landscapes each one more intriguing than the next with its distinctive shapes and rugged formations -- it was like being in a different world. While we were probably remiss not to have gone up in a balloon to get a bird's eye view of the totality, we were kept very busy climbing various hills, entering tunnels and passageways. We were particularly impressed with the underground museum of ancient pottery with its exquisite old ceramics so beautifully displayed. Our Capaddoccia experience facilitated by our guide Kadir was sheer pleasure. We highly recommend it!
After deciding to travel to Turkey, me & my wife contacted several local tour companies and we have decided go with Erkan. This decision made our trip a wonderful experience. Erkan ws prompt and consider all our travel needs. He suggested many great sites and was always flexible even we have changed the itinerary several times. When we met our guide Kadir in Istanbul, we felt that we were in safe hands. Kadir was so helpful, extraordinary knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He showed us many extra places along the way. The hotels was comfortable and food was amazing. I recommend them to anyone visiting Turkey.
My 3 friends and I spent 3 days at Cappodocia from 7 to 9 June 2015 which is part of our 2 weeks Turkey trip. All good reviews at Tripadvisor of Kadir our private tour guide were proven correct. Prior to our trip, my endless email queries were patiently answered and promptly too. His professionalism and deep knowledge of the history of Turkey impressed us.
He knows the best time of the day to visit places of interest to avoid tourist crowd. His great sense of humour was an added bonus. We would greatly recommend Kadir to anyone looking for a private tour guide for Turkey and especially Cappadocia.
My trip to Mt Nemrut was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences I have had. Kadir, our friendly guide, accompanied me and a small group of like-minded travellers on a 9-hr long drive down south from Cappadocia. Throughout the 4 days of our tour in South East Turkey, it was no doubt that we were in safe hands and good company. Kadir is an engaging and informative guide, quick to recant the rich history of the semi-arid terrains and always open to ideas and suggestions of the group. He also looked out for our special preferences if we had any. His fun and energetic vibe brought us to the ancient town of Harran and then to an unexpected Kurdish party in which the only other guests who attended are the locals. If you are a curious explorer looking for a tour etched off the beaten track, I would strongly recommend taking up Kadir’s services for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable trip.
