Day 1 - Arrival to Istanbul
Our driver will meet you at one of Istanbul's airports and will take you to your hotel in the old city. Our guide will meet you in the afternoon or evening for an orientation tour of the city and a little walk until dinner. You will get back to your hotel then for overnight.
Day 2 - Explore Sultanahmet – Hippodrome area
Our guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast for a walk in the old city of Istanbul, which is widely known as Sultanahmet or Hippodrome. After visiting the columns and obelisks erected in front of the Blue Mosque, you will visit the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Underground Cistern of Yerebatan before returning to your hotel. You will see the best examples of Turkish tiles in the Blue Mosque and the Ottoman Sultans' splendor in the Topkapi Palace. Hagia Sophia stands with modesty between these two but has impressive mosaics covering the structure's gigantic wall. Yerebatan Cistern was just one of the water reservoirs of the palaces of the Byzantium period. You will be dropped back at your hotel in the end or continue exploring the city with our guide.
Day 3 - Bosporus Cruise
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast for a walk from the old city of Istanbul to Eminonu. You can stop by the Sirkeci Train Station, which is the last stop of the Orient Express that inspired Agatha Christie. You will take a Bosporus cruise in between Europe and Asia, which only Istanbul can offer. You will see Istanbul's beautiful waterfront mansions and the best examples of late Ottoman architecture, from Palaces to Military schools. Upon arrival at Eminonu, you can have lunch and visit the Rustem Pasha Mosque, a small copy of the Blue Mosque with an even more vibrant blue color in her tiles. You can continue to the Museum of Koc Family to see the Republic of Turkey's industrial development or visit Istanbul Modern for contemporary art. You will get back to your hotel afterward.
Day 4 - Day of Activities in Istanbul
The city of Istanbul offers many different activities to almost all types of tourists, and today, you can choose in between many of them to have a memorable day with your family. We recommend a Turkish bath session to rest before your Cappadocia expedition, which can be followed by a cooking class with your family. We can take you to a glass blowing workshop to see the artist shaping the glass with their breath, and you can try glass blowing there as well. If you want to combine entertainment with shopping, we can arrange a treasure hunt in the Grand Bazaar before having lunch there and shop till you drop. Our guide will assist you throughout the activities and will drop you at your hotel at the end.
Day 5 - Flight to Cappadocia
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and will drop you at Istanbul Ataturk Airport for a flight to Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport. Our guide will meet you just outside the domestic arrivals, and you will start exploring the area right away with a little walk among the fairy chimneys of Monks Valley. After exploring the troglodyte cave dwellings of Zelve Open Air Museum, you will continue to Avanos town for lunch and a horseback ride. Cappadocia means the land of beautiful horses in the ancient Persian language, which is a well-deserved name. You will stop by one of Cappadocia's major viewpoints, then take spectacular photos of Cappadocia's poetic landscape and check in to your cave hotel afterward for a good rest.
Day 6 - Hot Air Balloon flight in Cappadocia
Our driver will pick you up very early in the morning before the sunrise from your hotel and will take you to an experience of a lifetime. You will be a part of the gentle Cappadocian wind and appreciate the ever-changing landscape below you during your hot air balloon flight. You will be dropped back at your hotel after the celebration and receiving your signed flight certificates from your pilot. Our guide will meet you at your hotel after your second breakfast and will take you to Goreme Village to explore the cave churches with beautiful frescoes depicting the life of Jesus Christ. You will continue to one of Cappadocia's underground cities than to descend into the earth this time to explore the cave dwellings and storages dug out by the Christians to shelter from invaders. You will have lunch with a local family and spend the rest of the day at your hotel or with a walk over the poetic landscape of Cappadocia or shopping. Our guide will drop you at your hotel then overnight.
Day 7 - Flight to Izmir and transfer to Kusadasi
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning for a private transfer to Kayseri airport to catch a direct flight to Ephesus. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you in front of the domestic arrivals and take you to your waterfront hotel in Kusadasi. You can spend the day resting by the pool and swimming in the cool waters of the Aegean Sea at your hotel.
Day 8 - Ephesus Tour
Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast in the morning for a comprehensive Ephesus tour. After exploring the ancient city of Ephesus and seeing the beautiful marble structures, you will continue to the Temple of Artemis, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, just nearby Ephesus. A visit to the Museum of Selcuk will complement your visit to Ephesus, and you will have lunch in a restaurant on the way to Sirince village. You will visit the house of the Virgin Mary before getting back to your hotel in Kusadasi, or you can keep exploring the area with the Cathedral of Saint John or Isabey Mosque. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 9 - Aphrodisias and Pamukkale
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Kusadasi to take you on a magical tour to the ancient cities of Aphrodisias and Hierapolis. Aphrodisias was the center of sculpture art, and artisans made the marble sculptures in the workshops of Aphrodisias traded all over the Roman land. After exploring the ancient city of Aphrodisias and lunch, you will continue to the ancient city of Hierapolis to see the biggest intact Necropolis in the world. After visiting the Theater of Hierapolis, you can swim in the same pool as Cleopatra did thousands of years ago. Hierapolis was a popular healing center in ancient times, and calcium-rich waters passing through the town has created the world-famous white travertines that you can walk today. After visiting the Museum of Hierapolis to see the beautiful sarcophagus found during the excavations in the area, you can remove your shoes for a nice walk over the cotton-like white travertines of Pamukkale. Our guide will take you to your hotel afterward. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 10 - Private Transfer to Marmaris for a 3 Night/4 Day Blue Cruise
Our driver will meet you at your hotel after breakfast and will drive you to Marmaris city for embarking your gullet in the port of Marmaris. After checking in to your cabins, you can walk around and have dinner on board with the other participants. Overnight on board in Marmaris Harbor. Please advise if you are interested in a private cruise
Day 11 - Dalyan and Ekincik Gulf
You will have breakfast on board, which will be followed by a briefing about your cruise. You will cruise to Dalyan to walk or swim in the Iztuzu beach, where you can encounter the Caretta Carettas coming there to lay their eggs. A boat trip in Dalyan is recommended to see the Rock Cut Roman Graves up on the hills and to have fun in the mud baths before getting back to your boat for dinner and overnight.
Day 12 - Tersane Island, Sunken Baths and Kizil Island
Your gullet will start sailing early in the morning to reach the Tersane Island for breakfast. Your next stop is Monastery Bay to see the beach where Cleopatra used to swim. You can swim or snorkel over a sunken bath complex before cruising to the Kizil Island for dinner and overnight.
Day 13 - Disembark and flight to Istanbul
Before sailing to Fethiye, you will stop by Samanlik Bay for lunch and the last swim break of your blue cruise. You will disembark in the afternoon and catch a flight to Istanbul from Dalaman airport for your last night in Turkey. Our driver will meet you in front of the domestic arrivals in Istanbul and take you to your hotel overnight. We can book you a hotel at the airport if your departure is very early in the morning.
Day 14 - Departure from Istanbul
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and will take you to one of the Airports of Istanbul for a flight back home or for your next destination.
